North America Air Conditioning Systems; Help Cool an Enclosed Space by Removing Heat
North America Air Conditioning Systems
An air conditioning system is an electrical device that is purposely installed for the removal of heat and moisture from the interior of an occupied space. According to the United States Department of Energy, central air conditioners circulate cool air through a system of supply and return ducts. These ducts and registers carry cooled air from the air conditioning system to the home, and then this cooled air becomes warmer as it circulates through the home; then it flows back to the central air conditioner through return ducts and registers. Air conditioning system is also used to cool and dehumidify rooms that contain heat-producing electronic devices.
The North
america air conditioning systems market was valued at US$ 33,211.3 Mn in 2022 and is forecast to reach a value of US$ 46,028.1 Mn by 2030 at a CAGR of 4.16 % between 2023 and 2030.
American households are far more likely to have air
conditioning (AC) system than their European counterparts in part because cool
air has always been a necessity in some regions of the U.S., like the humid
South and desert Southwest. According to the results
from the 2020 Residential Energy Consumption Survey, around 88% of U.S.
households use air conditioning (AC). Two-thirds of U.S. households use central
AC or a central heat pump as their main AC equipment. In 2020, the Midwest
Census Region and the South Census Region had the highest percentages of
households using air conditioning systems, at 92% and 93%, respectively.
North
America Air Conditioning Systems
are used to remove heat from enclosed space to achieve more comfortable
interior environment and in some cases also strictly controlling the humidity
of internal air. Air conditioners (AC) are found to be amongst the most common
electrical appliances in homes within the United States. It is estimated that
the U.S. uses more air conditioning than all other countries combined. More
than 75% of homes have air conditioner installed of one type or another. According
to the U.S Department of Energy, North
America Air Conditioning Systems
usage amounts to about 6% of total electricity produced in the country.
